Aye Admin's which Cermak Family members would be eligible for this lawsuit? My Great great Grandma was Margaret Moran. she married Henry Cermak. Do you have any Info on this linage? at one time i think I traced it back to Big Thunder being a Grandfather and Little Crow being an Uncle. I tried one time to go see the records at Mystic Lake and once they heard Cermak they were rude and said they are private. thanks for any help you can give me tracing my family.

Anyone know who can take on the case for law suit against mystic lake. Out great great grandma Margaret Moran married Henry Cermak and the land were play works belonged to our great great grandparents. They took the land and tore it all down. They won't even acknowledge the names Cermak and Moran. Because they know they did wrong by taking our great great grandparents land away. We are direct descendants and should be entitled to some kind of payment for the land that was taken.

margaret Moran aka Maggie was daughter of Amable Moran born @1804 , Montreal,Que. Canada, and Mary Louise Skaya b. @1826 near Pig's Eye, Minn Terr.;she died 15 Aug.,1903 St.Paul. ,Ramsey, Minn. She and Amable were wed 4 June,1849 St. Paul,Ramsey,Minn. Terr.
Margaret or Maggie was born3 Mar. 1865 LaSeur Cty,Minn. and died 20 July,1944 Shakopee,Minn. Her spouse,Henry Cermak was born 12 Aug. 1882, Bohemia(Czechhoslovakia), and died 11 Feb. 1939 Shakopee,Scott,MN. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cem.,shakopee,Minn. maggie and henry were wed in1880 ,Catholic church in Wheatland,,Rice,Minn. The couple moved from New Prague,to Shakopee,Minn. 1919. i do not know who Mary Louise Skaya's parents were.
____________ there's something wrong with henry Cermak;s birth date. if he wed maggie in 1880 he would have been two years old. I will see if i can find a correct birth date for him. henry Cermak was bornin1852, not 1882.i believe it was my error , and i apologize for the goof.

That is total major disrespect...taking your relatives family's land like that. If you have the original land patent and or deed to that land and can prove it...you could file a suit on them to the Federal court of claims...supreme court...get all the names of the people there on site and name of company and who authorized it and so on and file suit...my solution...hope this helps...

Wasuduta The Cermak case has been in the federal court system for a number of years. it has been included in the wolfchild lawsuit which is now awaiting a decision by the Appellate Court.

i am thinkng that there is a law ir in Aizona that might take your case against Mystic lake. the lawfirmis RenaudBlaircookDrury and mesaros of Phoenix AZ. their website is www.rcdmlaw.comJudge lettow ruled a ouple yeas ago that by putting th 1886 land in tust of the the Thre communities, make them(the 3 communities) liable , as they are acting as agents of the US Dept. of the Interior,BIA. One possible snag, one or more of the Cermaks has anattoney already repreenting them. You Cerrmaks need to get together and let eachother know what you are doing re. the land at issue.

That land was no longer Maggie and Henrys. It was passed down to my grandpa, John and was taken when he passed away in 1989 bc it was a trust property.
